Château Nico Lazaridi White

Château Nico Lazaridi White is a renowned, crisp Greek dry white wine produced by the esteemed Nico Lazaridi Winery in the Drama region of Macedonia, Northern Greece. This Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) Drama wine is highly regarded for its balance of vibrant fruit characteristics, refreshing acidity, and distinct artistic labels that change frequently.

• The Blend: Historically a multi-varietal mix, the modern blend focuses primarily on Sauvignon Blanc (60-65%) combined with the structural richness of indigenous Greek Assyrtiko (30-35%) and a touch of highly aromatic Malagousia (5%).
• Vinification: Fermented in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures (12–16°C) followed by short maturation on the fine lees to enhance its creamy texture while preserving purity and energy.
• Alcohol Content: Typically ranges between 12.5% and 13% ABV depending on the vintage.

• Appearance: Bright yellow color with delicate greenish hues.
• Aroma: An intense bouquet of tropical fruits (mango, papaya, pineapple), citrus, ripe peach, and lemongrass, layered with elegant white flowers and a subtle hint of flint or wet stone.
• Palate: Full-bodied yet lively, characterized by a pleasant, crisp acidity that offers excellent tension, leading into a long, aromatic fruit finish.

• Dishes: Pairs brilliantly with Mediterranean and Asian cuisine. It is excellent alongside grilled poultry, seafood, fatty fish, pasta with creamy or basil pesto sauces, and fresh salads featuring goat cheese.
• Serving Temperature: Best enjoyed chilled at 8°C to 12°C.
• Aging Potential: Best consumed fresh or aged up to 3–4 years post-harvest.
