Vidiano
P.G.I. Crete (Protected Geographical Indication)
Dry white
Vidiano is an excellent Cretan variety that evolves beautifully over time. We want to highlight this aspect with this elegant barrel expression that comes out on the market having all the necessary time it takes in the winery to unfold its complex character, even if it takes several years. Its name refers to the darkness that prevails inside the barrel and the bottle, to the time when the wine matures in the tranquility of the winery.
Medium intensity golden color with green highlights. Time leads to the development of a complex aromatic bouquet with juicy stone fruits such as apricot and quince, chamomile, honey, vanilla and mineral notes. Its taste is exuberant with harmonious acidity, ripe honey fruits dominating and a long nutty aftertaste. The wine can be aged for at least 3-4 more years.
