Sclavos Wines · Robola · Kefalonia · Greece
A remarkable single-vineyard Robola from the high limestone slopes of Kefalonia, where poor, rocky soils give the wine its extraordinary precision and mineral intensity.
The nose is expressive and deeply terroir-driven, revealing ripe lemon, citrus, white peach, pear and delicate floral notes, with a striking crushed-stone character. On the palate, it is powerful yet sharply defined, combining generous fruit and subtle warmth with vibrant acidity, remarkable minerality and a long, saline finish.
A serious Robola with both energy and depth, built for ageing and capable of revealing even greater complexity with time in bottle.
