Dry red
The fruit comes from a specific privately owned vineyard, with old plants in the Potamida area. It is a wine that expresses the fresh side of Liatiko with lively aromas of dark fruits and herbs. The short stay in oak barrels aims to reveal the special characteristics of this charismatic grape and the uniqueness of the Cretan terroir. It is a versatile wine that will accompany beautiful fine dishes that cover a wide range of foods such as meat, vegetables, fish and cheeses.
Pale reddish-orange color. Complex, full of freshness aroma of cherry and fig, herbs and sweet spices. On the palate, its tannins are velvety and the characteristically high alcohol of the variety, well integrated. In the end, there is a peppery but at the same time fruity aftertaste that lasts.

White and red meats cooked or grilled, vegetables cooked with tomato such as eggplants imam or briam, fish plaki, octopus stew, pasta with red sauces or rich cheeses, cheeses and cold cuts.

Aging: 5-8 years
Serves: 13-15°C.
Vineyard: Semi-mountainous, in the Dafnes zone in the Venerato area in Malevizio, Heraklion. Clay-calcareous soil.
Altitude: 300-400 meters

Vinification: Classic red vinification with fermentation at 26ºC in temperature-controlled tanks
