Sclavos Wines · Robola · Kefalonia · Greece
“Wine of the Stone” — a remarkable expression of Robola, grown high in the limestone slopes of Mount Ainos in Kefalonia. Crafted by Evriviadis “Vladis” Sclavos, one of Greece’s pioneers of biodynamic and low-intervention winemaking.
Pure, energetic and intensely mineral, with aromas of lemon, grapefruit, citrus blossom, pear and white peach, layered over a distinctive stony and saline character. The palate is crisp and beautifully focused, with vibrant acidity, subtle texture and a long, refreshing finish. With bottle age, the wine develops deeper mineral and delicate petrol-like nuances.
